course

The Krebsbach rises above the Neustadt dam in the southern Harz. A few kilometers behind its source, it is already dammed in this. After flowing through the dam, it touches Herrmannsacker and reaches another dam, the Iberg dam . This is used for flood protection. The first place on the stream is Stempeda . A few hundred meters further, it leaves the Thuringian region and reaches Rottleberode in Saxony-Anhalt, where it flows into the Thyra.
