The district of Kamin , then called Camminer Kreis or Camminscher Kreis , was a Prussian district that existed between 1772 and 1818 in the Netzedistrikt or in West Prussia .

history

The district of Kamin had been one of the four districts of the Netzedistrikt since 1772 , which had become part of Prussia after the first partition of Poland in 1772 and which had belonged to the West Prussian Province since 1775 .

As a result of the Peace of Tilsit in 1807, the southern part of the district fell to the Duchy of Warsaw , but came back to Prussia through the regulations of the Congress of Vienna in 1815. As part of the Prussian provincial authorities ordinance of April 30, 1815 and its implementing provisions, the northern part of the district remained in the province of West Prussia, while the southern part of the district came to the province of Posen . The northern part was essentially in the new Flatow in marienwerder on the southern part of the new circles Chodziesen and Wirsitz in the administrative district of Bromberg .
