Szentes (Hungarian Szentesi járás ) is a district in the northeast of the southern Hungarian county of Csongrád-Csanád . It borders on Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county to the north and Békés county to the east .
history
As part of the Hungarian administrative reform, all 8 municipalities of the small area of the same name (Hungarian Szentesi kistérség ) were taken over into the successor group unchanged at the beginning of 2013 .
