Kriemhild Buhl (also: Krimi Buhl , Maxi Buhl ) (born September 12, 1951 in Innsbruck , Tyrol ) is a German writer and qualified librarian .

Life

She is the oldest of the three daughters of Eugenie and Hermann Buhl , the first to climb Nanga Parbat. Growing up in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden , the hometown of her mother, Kriemhild Buhl attended grammar school in Berchtesgaden and studied foreign languages ​​in Heidelberg and later in Munich librarianship.

During her studies she published essays and short stories in various newspapers and magazines. From the mid-1990s, in addition to her full-time work as a librarian in the Würzburg city library, she published her first books - a mini children's book series and crime novels for adults. Apart from the author's readings for her books, she also appears in front of children as a storyteller and offers writing workshops .

Kriemhild Buhl has a daughter and is married to the photographer Thomas Klinger . She lives in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden.
