The Krissek peak is around 2500 m high and sharp peaks , which consists of a south-west of Mount Henderson extending ridge in the Britannia Range rises.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2001 after the geologist Lawrence A. Krissek of Ohio State University , who was active in numerous Antarctic summer campaigns in the center of the Transantarctic Mountains from 1985 onwards.
