Krista Beinstein (born July 3, 1955 in Vienna , Austria ) is an Austrian photographer who focuses on lesbian eroticism.

Beinstein learned photography . As a photographer and action artist, she lives in Hamburg and Vienna . In 1986 her first book, Obscene Women in Vienna, was published. By 2009, eight more followed at Konkursbuch Verlag . In the 1980s, were all their exhibitions victims of vandalism on the part of militant feminists.

She links private life, work and politics and is a representative of sex-positive feminism . Beinstein's themes included lust , blood and BDSM .

Her films True Love and Bad Girls , made in 1989 and 1991, were shown at the Berlin Porn Film Festival in 2013 . The controversial films include lesbian sex, masturbation, and BDSM , among others . In one scene feces are eaten , in another different innards are used.
