Kristin Schmidt (born October 18, 1983 in Zschopau ) is a former German ski jumper .

Career

Kristin Schmidt made her international debut on January 18, 2003 at an FIS race in Villach , where she finished 17th. In the summer of 2003 she was able to achieve her only podium finish in Bischofshofen with third place. A short time later she secured the silver medal behind Ulrike Gräßler at the German Championships . The following year she won bronze.

On January 16, 2005, she jumped in Planica for the first time in the Continental Cup and reached 18th place. After eight more competitions, she did not return to international level.
