Kristineberg is an above-ground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Kristineberg district . The station is served by the Gröna linjen of the Stockholm subway system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 6,100 commuters get on here.
The station went into operation on October 26, 1952 when the Hötorget - Vällingby metro section was inaugurated. The platforms are above ground, right next to the Drottningholmsvägen expressway . The station is between Thorildsplan and Alvik stations . It is about three kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
