Krisztián Szollár [ ˈkristi.aːn ˈsolːaːr ] (born August 30, 1980 in Orosháza ) is a former Hungarian football player .
Career
Szollár started his career at MTK Orosháza and moved to Ferencváros Budapest in 1994 . After three years with this club and half a year with Vác FC , he moved to FC Schalke 04 in January 1998 , where he was part of the professional squad from July 1999. On May 20, 2000 he played his first and so far only Bundesliga game when he came on for Marco van Hoogdalem in the 74th minute of the game FC Schalke 04 against Hansa Rostock . For the 2000/01 season he was loaned to Rot-Weiss Essen in order to be able to collect match practice. In the following years he was only used in the second team. For the 2005/06 season switched to SG Wattenscheid 09 . After a year there he moved to the Oberliga Westfalen in Prussia Münster . From the 2007/08 season he played at SV Darmstadt 98 , first in the Oberliga Hessen and then in the Regionalliga Süd . After his contract was not renewed, he moved to Viktoria Aschaffenburg in the Hessenliga for the 2009/10 season . For financial reasons, the club had to give him up during the winter break, whereupon he moved to league competitor Germania Ober-Roden . For the 2010/11 season, however, he moved back to Viktoria Aschaffenburg for personal reasons. In the 2011/12 season he played for Rot-Weiß Darmstadt .
Szollár was in the 2001/02 season with FC Schalke 04 DFB Cup winners , reached fifth place in the Bundesliga and took second place in the DFL League Cup .
