Church and rectory

Village church in Kritzkow

The church was built around 1320 as a simple brick building. Under the direction of the master builder Ludwig Möckel , the church received a new design and a tower in 1900. The altar, pulpit and the window in the chancel are made in Art Nouveau style. A brass baptismal bowl with rich decorations (around 1580) shows great craftsmanship. The rectory has been used as assisted living since 2017. The remains of the parish barn were demolished at the time of the fall.
