Kronstetten is a district of Schwandorf in the district of Schwandorf in the administrative district of Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

geography

Kronstetten is located east of Schwandorf directly on the A 93 motorway.

local community

The former independent municipality, which joined the city of Schwandorf by contract on July 1, 1972, consisted of the districts of Bössellohe, Charlottenhof, Freihöls, Holzhaus, Kronstetten, Lindenlohe and Prissath.

The hunting lodge Charlottenhof once belonged to the municipality of Konstetten.

church

The Catholic branch church of St. Johannes Baptist and Evangelist in Kronstetten belongs to the parish of St. Stefan in Wackersdorf. While all other former districts belong to the parish of St. Andreas in Schwandorf-Fronberg.

School district

Since the parish did not have its own school, the parish boundary right through the parish had an impact on membership of the school district. The children in the districts attended the school in Fronberg, the children from the main town attended the school in Wackersdorf. Since the incorporation, all children have belonged to the school district of the city of Schwandorf.
