The Crooked creek rises in the northern High Fläming when to Buckautal belonging village Buckau and drained to the northeast to Buckau and through this to Havel . He runs towards Buckau from the left.
course
The almost one kilometer long Fläming River rises on the northern slope of an 87 meter high hill belonging to the Hohe Fläming between the villages of Buckau, Dretzen and Rottstock in the Schweinitz forest. First the Krumme Bach flows northwards, after not quite five hundred meters it swings east to northeast. He picks up a small river from the right. After a total of nine hundred meters, the Krumme Bach reaches Buckau, where it joins the river of the same name. The catchment area of the river is about five square kilometers.
Protected areas
The Crooked Brook is located entirely in High Fläming Nature Park , in the conservation area High Fläming-Belziger Landschaftswiesen and FFH area Buckau and side leveling. Parts are designated as protected biotopes .
