Dretzen is a district of the municipality Buckautal in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark in the state of Brandenburg and is part of the Ziesar office . In 2002 Dretzen merged with the Buckau community to form the Buckautal community, into which Steinberg was also incorporated. Dretzen lies directly on the state border to Saxony-Anhalt on the Kirchenheider Bach , which drains over the Geuenbach into the Buckau . Dretzen is in the Hoher Fläming Nature Park .
Attractions
A designated monument in Dretzen is an old school and prayer house at Dorfstraße 52.
Despite the small number of inhabitants, there is a grocery store in Dretzen for everyday items such as canned goods, chocolates, cigarettes and alcohol. The 90-year-old owner Otto Schulze started as a sales point manager in Dretzen in March 1949. In 1955 he moved into the house in Dorfstrasse 10a, where the business is still located today.
