Steinberg is a district of the municipality Buckautal in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark in the state of Brandenburg and is part of the Ziesar office . In 2002 Steinberg was incorporated into the Buckautal community, which was formed at the same time from the communities Buckau and Dretzen . Steinberg is about four kilometers east of Ziesar, directly on the federal motorway 2 . The village is also located in the Hoher Fläming Nature Park , the northern border of which is marked by the motorway. The Strepenbach and Litzenbach rivers arise near Steinberg .

Attractions

Designated architectural monuments in Steinberg are the village church with a war memorial in front of its south side and a residential building with a former transformer station .
