Krystian Zalewski

Krystian Zalewski (born April 11, 1989 ) is a Polish obstacle and long-distance runner .

At the 2010 World Cross Country Championships in Bydgoszcz he finished 106th, and at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2012 he was seventh over 3000 m obstacle.

In 2013 he came in 55th place at the Cross Country World Championships in Bydgoszcz and was disqualified in the run-up to the 3000 m obstacle at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow because he had crossed the inside of the track.

In 2014 he won silver over 3000 m obstacles at the European Championships in Zurich and was eighth in the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech . At the 2015 World Cup in Beijing, he came in ninth place.

After Zalewski reached the final of the 3000 meter obstacle course neither at the 2016 Olympic Games nor at the 2017 World Championships , he won the 2017 Universiade in Taipei in 8: 35.88 minutes.

In 2014 and 2015 he became Polish champion over 3000 m obstacle, in 2014 over 5000 m .
