Krzysztof Janus (born March 25, 1986 in Brzeg Dolny , Poland ) is a Polish football player who plays primarily in the right midfield .

Career

Krzysztof Janus played for MKP Wołów in his youth before joining the first team in 2002. About Gawin Królewska Wola (2004-2007) he made the jump in January 2008 to the team of the Polish first division club GKS Bełchatów . There he could not prevail as a regular player and played both in the first team, as well as in the second team, which plays in the separate youth league Młoda Ekstraklasa . In the summer of 2010 he moved to league rivals Cracovia Kraków , where he could not prevail. Therefore, he was loaned to the second division KS Polkowice for a year in the summer of 2011 , where he became a regular. After the season he returned to Krakow . At the end of August 2012, he then signed a one-year contract with third division club Wisła Płock with the option of an extension. The contract was extended after Wisła's rise in 2013. One class higher, he drew attention to himself with double-digit hit numbers. His club missed promotion to the Ekstraklasa at the end of the 2014/15 season as third. Janus then moved to newly promoted Zagłębie Lubin . At the end of the 2015/16 season he was able to qualify for the Europa League with his new team . In the 2016/17 season , he and his team secured relegation in the relegation round. In the 2017/18 season he was rarely used and played a few times in the second team. At the end of February 2018, he left Lubin and joined league rival Arka Gdynia . But just four months later he moved on to the second division Odra Opole .
