The KsOd VImb was a freight train - steam locomotive series of the kk private Kaschau-Oderberger Bahn (KsOd).
history
After the machines of the KsOd VIm , the KsOd needed more powerful freight locomotives for its steep sections in the High Tatras . In 1919 , Mallet locomotives similar to the MÁV 651 series were again ordered from the Floridsdorf locomotive factory , the technical data of which differed somewhat from those of the VIm series. The VImb series with road numbers 473-485 were therefore intended for them.
The KsOd did not accept the 13 machines. They came together to ČSD , which classified them as series 623.0 . Since the ČSD had already received three units of the 651 series from the MÁV in 1918 as 623.001–003, the 13 KsOd locomotives were given the numbers 623.004–016
