Ksente Bogoev
Ksente Bogoev ( Macedonian Ксенте Богоев ; born October 20, 1919 in Leunovo , Strumica municipality , Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes ; † April 20, 2008 in Skopje , Macedonia ) was a Yugoslav or Macedonian economist and politician.
Life
He studied economics at the University of Belgrade , later he was professor of economics (focus on financial policy) at the University of Skopje . From 1968 to 1974 he was Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Macedonia within the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia . From 1977 he headed the Yugoslav National Bank. He was a member (and from 1992 to 1999 President) of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
