Cow gate
Several medieval city gates have survived as cow gates:
- the Kuhtor (Günzburg)
- the Kuhtor (Demmin) has been called Luisentor since 1821
- the cow gate (Danzig)
- the Kuhtor (Rostock) is the oldest preserved city gate in northern Germany
- Kuhtor (Duisburg) refers to a place in downtown Duisburg on the site of the former city gate through which Hellweg left the city.

In contrast, an entrance to Potsdam's Sanssouci Park, also known as the Kuhtor , dates from the 19th century .
