The Kulm is located in the area of ​​the municipality of Nabburg between its district Windpaißing in the southwest, the Wernberg-Köblitzer district Friedersdorf in the north and the Pfreimde district Egerhof in the east. The easiest way to get to the summit is by branching off the SAD 28 district road near Windpaißing.

Observation tower

There is an observation tower on the Kulm . The tower is 14.5 meters high and 5.5 meters wide. The 3.5 by 3.5 meter viewing platform can be reached via 72 steps. The tower was built by the Nabburg branch of the Upper Palatinate Forest Association and was handed over to its intended use on June 18, 1972.
