Kungsängen is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Stockholm County and the historical province of Uppland . It is also the capital of the Upplands-Bro municipality .

The place is on the bank of the Mälaren , which has formed a spur towards Sigtuna . Since 2001, Kungsängen has had a stop on the Pendeltåg network on the Bålsta - Nynäshamn route . In addition, the Europastraße 18 passes in the immediate vicinity of the village.
