The Kunjirap is the left headwaters of the Hunza in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .
The Kunjirap rises at the Kunjirap Pass not far from the border with the People's Republic of China . From there it flows in a predominantly westerly direction through the mountains. The river valley forms the dividing line between the Hindu Kush in the north and the Karakoram in the south. Bara Khun from the right and Ghujerab from the left are major tributaries of the Kunjirap. The Karakoram Highway follows the course of the river. About 7 km north of the village of Sust , the Kilik meets the Kunjirap from the right and unites with it to form the Hunza. The Kunjirap has a length of 75 km.
