The Kunlun Pass is a mountain pass located on the border of Qumarlêb and Chidu (both Yushu Governorate ) and Golmud in the west of the Chinese province of Qinghai in the central Kunlun Mountains . Its height is 4772 m. It is crossed by the Qinghai Tibet Highway (Qing-Zang gonglu) and the Qingzang Railway (Lhasa Railway). Geologically, the Kunlun Pass fold marks the border between the Kunlun Terran and the Songpan Ganzi Terran (Chinese: Songpan Ganzi diti 松潘 - 甘孜 地 体).
