action

Note: the plot follows the first part almost seamlessly . The remaining Kunoichi planned the murder of the Shogun and his bodyguard for atrocities committed against their relatives.

The bloody vengeance of the five remaining avengers, members of the legendary ninja clan of the Horii, along with two male companions, the one-eyed samurai Jūbei and the monk Takuan, causes the violent and decadent prince Akinari Katō to flee to Aizu . The fugitive prince is accompanied by decimated members of his bodyguard, the legendary and overpowering “Seven Umbrellas” - a gang of murderers who have different fighting techniques and strengths.

Determined to atone for injustices committed in combat, the Kunoichi, who have magical powers, pursue the guilty under the guidance of master Jūbei, who hides under a Hannja mask. The thrown together team succeeds in killing some demonic accomplices in the first skirmishes, which inevitably leads to losses in the ranks of the attackers. Two out of seven vengeful nuns die. Startled by the first fighting, the prince's henchmen try to use traps and intrigues to attack the approaching avengers.

Even before further armed conflict ensues, the good guys find out about a strange connection between their wise monastery chief, who is supposed to secure the continued existence of the powerful Tokugawa ruling family with his earthly existence , and an evil and sinister character on the other side. In the event of the villain's demise, the aging clergyman also dies, which should be avoided at all costs. At this point the ranks of the advancing avengers split. Yagyū Jūbei and the women he trained fight the unscrupulous villains following their own conviction, while Takuan advocates the Tokugawa rule and renounces armed struggle.

The vengeance venture then proceeds rather haphazardly. Jūbei is imprisoned and put with other women captured in the so-called “Snow Hell”, a dungeon for abducted women from the country. Takuan is also captured; Ochei, the ruler's chosen beauty, finally comes into the hands of the instinctive prince, who, however, disdains her and crucifies her with two remaining Kunoichi. The vengeful women apparently cannot compete with the overpowering prince. Only when Jūbei manages to escape the snow hell with a trick does the tide turn and a fight between good and evil breaks out, which Jūbei initiates with his sword. In the meantime, Takuan has been released. With united ninja forces, the three tied women free themselves. Final fighting ultimately leads to victory for the good guys. The tyrannical ruler is brought down and killed by the hand of Ochei.

At the end of the film, Jūbei flees from his honorable father, who has since arrived with a delegation, and Ochei. The beauty is visibly drawn to her comrade in arms, but the latter does not reciprocate her feelings and instead chooses solitude, adventure and combat. In the last scene of the film, the female ninja looks sadly after her beloved when he leaves with an unknown destination.
