Kurt Becker-Marx

Kurt Becker-Marx (born September 26, 1921 in Wiesbaden , † 2004 ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Career

Becker-Marx was District Administrator of the Ludwigshafen district from 1956 to 1964 . Then he was the association director of the regional planning association Rhein-Neckar . He was professor for regional planning and regional planning at the University of Mannheim . From 1992 he was also a member of the Academy for Spatial Research and Regional Planning in Hanover. He was politically active in the SPD , for which he ran unsuccessfully on the Rhineland-Palatinate state list in the 1965 federal election. Becker-Marx died in 2004.
