Kurt Kipfer

Kurt Kipfer (born June 14, 1923 in Bern ; † 1992 ; resident in Bern and Lützelflüh ) was a Swiss doctor and politician ( SP ).

Life

After graduating from high school in 1943, he studied medicine and graduated in 1949 with the state examination. He was a senior physician at the Medical Polyclinic Bern, and later had a practice as a specialist in internal medicine FMH in Bern. He was the head of the school doctor's office. Kipfer was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern from 1970 to 1981 . After the death of Mayor Reynold Tschäppät , Kipfer was elected to the City Council of Bern in a replacement election in 1979 , of which he was a member until the end of 1984. He was head of the school administration. In 1982 he opened the first day school in the city of Bern. From January 1985 to the end of June 1987 he was an occupational physician for the city of Bern.
