Kurt Neumann (politician, June 1924)
Kurt Neumann (born June 7, 1924 in Berlin ; † August 29, 2008 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Kurt Neumann attended a primary school and was drafted into the Wehrmacht in March 1942 . After the Second World War he returned to Berlin in 1947, where he joined the " Falken " and the SPD. He trained as an educator in the Friedrich-Froebel-Haus , which he completed in 1952 with state recognition as a youth carer. From August 1954 Neumann worked as a social worker in the Tiergarten district office . Since Arved Rogall to the district councilor in the district of Charlottenburgwas elected, Neumann was able to move up to the Berlin House of Representatives in February 1965 . In 1975 he became chairman of the staff council in the Tiergarten district office. In the Berlin election in 1979 he was re-elected to the House of Representatives because he was able to win the direct mandate in the Tiergarten 1 constituency.
