Kurt Salomon

Kurt Salomon (born before 1925; died after 1945), later Kurt Santen, was a German football player and coach. Salomon was of Jewish origin and took the name Santen during the Nazi era and survived the Holocaust .

Salomon belonged to the Chemnitzer BC as a striker , for whom he played point games in the championships organized by the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs from 1925 to 1928 in the Gau Central Saxony. During his club membership he won the Gaume Championship in Central Saxony four times in a row. As a result, he was represented with his team four times in the finals of the Central German Championship. In 1926 he and his team were "out" in the second round , and in 1925 and 1928 in the quarter-finals. The club only reached the final on May 1, 1927, but it was lost 4-0 at VfB Leipzig .
