Kurt Suchy
Kurt Suchy (born November 13, 1926 in Dessau ; † May 26, 2013 in Hilden ) was a German theoretical physicist.
After studying and doing a doctorate at the University of Greifswald , working for Edgar Gretener's company in Switzerland and his habilitation at the University of Marburg , he became a professor at the University of Düsseldorf in 1971 , where he was also rector from 1976 to 1978 . The focus of his research was the kinetic plasma theory as well as wave and radiation propagation.
