Kurt Wansner (born October 30, 1947 in Berlin ) is a Berlin politician ( CDU ). He is a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .
Life
Kurt Wansner attended secondary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, which he completed in 1966 with the journeyman's examination. From 1978 to 1982 he worked in the technical field service of the building and housing inspectorate in Kreuzberg . He then attended course I from 1982 to 1983 and course II from 1986 to 1987 at the technical staff administration school in Berlin. Between 1983 and 1986 he worked as an administrator at the Kreuzberg property office and from 1987 to 1988 as a technical clerk at the building and housing supervision office in Kreuzberg. From 1989 to 1995 he was employed by the Senator for Construction and Housing.

Kurt Wansner joined the CDU in 1979 and is a member of the Kreuzberg district executive. It followed there from 1991 to 1995 the office as chairman. From 2001 to 2007 he then took over the district chairmanship of the CDU in the newly tailored Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district . He held this office again from 2010 to 2019.
Since May 2019, Wansner has been a member of the CDU Berlin regional executive committee .
From 1992 to 1995 he was a member of the district assembly in Kreuzberg.
Kurt Wansner has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives since November 1995. In the legislative period 2006–2011 he was a member of the Committee on Home Affairs, Security and Order and the Committee on Integration, Labor, Vocational Education and Social Affairs. For his parliamentary group, he was also the specialist spokesman for integration. In the 2006 election he was able to obtain a seat for the House of Representatives through the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district list. Since the 2011 elections he has only been a member of the Committee on Home Affairs, Security and Order. He was not re-elected for the other positions. In 1995 and 1999 Kurt Wansner won a direct mandate for the CDU in Kreuzberg. As in 2001, 2006 and 2011, he moved into the House of Representatives in 2016 via the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district list.
