Kurt von Mutzenbecher

Kurt von Mutzenbecher , actually Robert Curt von Mutzenbecher (born November 18, 1866 in Hamburg , † October 7, 1938 in Berlin ) was a German administrative and court official.

Life

Kurt von Mutzenbecher was the son of Johannes Eduard Freiherr von Mutzenbecher auf Klein Flottbeck and born Jeanette. Nice. After visiting the Ritterakademie Brandenburg he studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Berlin law . In 1886 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . He was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD. After completing his studies, he first worked as a court assessor and then in the diplomatic service. In 1893 he was attaché to the German embassy in Washington, DC and part of the German delegation at the opening of the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago . In 1903 he became the Prussian Court Theater intendant of the Royal Court Theater Wiesbaden . On November 14, 1918, he resigned from office due to the turmoil of the revolution. Mutzenbecher was a reserve officer in the Hussar Regiment "King Wilhelm I" (1st Rheinisches) No. 7 and remained unmarried.
