Valley of the Wolves - Ambush ( Turkish Kurtlar Vadisi - Pusu ) is the continuation of the Turkish television series Valley of the Wolves . The series is produced by Pana Film .
action
The central theme is no longer the mafia, as in Valley of the Wolves , but the machinations of the influential business people in Turkey, who among other things support terrorism in order to derive economic advantages from it. In this series, too, the relationship to reality is evident. The KGT ("Kamu Güvenliği Teşkilatı", a fictional Turkish secret service), under the leadership of Polat Alemdar, tries to track down the illegal activities of the four politically and economically influential families and to bring down their mafia-like system within Turkish borders.
But over time, a new enemy emerges in İskender Büyük, who is hung up in the 93rd episode and dies as a result. He is a former Turkish agent and is now in the service of the Deep State . There are many parallels to political events such as the hypothetical Ergenekon organization and the murders of journalists Hrant Dink and Uğur Mumcu . With the third season, a new opponent came into play in the form of the Italian organization Gladio, which was dissolved in 1990 .
While Polat Alemdar already lost several of his "men" due to various assassinations by İskender Büyük, he managed to integrate himself into the "Council of Elders", a group of old Turkish veterans that works in cooperation with politics and the military. However, Polat Alemdar broke the marriage ban of the council of elders in order not to disappoint his sick mother and was henceforth no longer contacted or visited, but was always observed.
The end of the 63rd episode of the series heats up once again. In this episode, Polat Alemdar breaks out of his custody to save the Prime Minister from an assassination attempt by İskender, but is shot in the process and the series ends during the summer break. It is interesting, however, that it is not a representative from İskender Büyük, but an unknown person who joins the Prime Minister, who later turns out to be a representative of Davut Tataroğlu, who works on behalf of or in cooperation with the NATO secret organization "Gladio" . With this puzzle, the director succeeded in creating a transition for the viewer to the movie Valley of the Wolves - Gladio .

The movie Muro: Nalet Olsun İçimdeki İnsan Sevgisine was released in December 2008 as a spin-off of the series . The film tells the career of the controversial figure Muro and his two companions Çeto and Yıldırım. Muro embodies a left underground revolutionary in the series who works for the party on behalf of the Kurdish PKK . The figure became controversial because, despite its hostile ideology, it became very popular with the audience.
At the end of 2009, Kurtlar Vadisi: Gladio , another feature film, was released in the cinemas. The story of İskender Büyük is told. In the cinema trailer Kurtlar Vadisi Gladio you can read some of these names such as Turgut Özal, Cem Ersever, Apo , and hear the sentence of the likely leading actor Musa Uzunlar: "Size Gladio'nun ikinci adamını anlatacağım", which means in German something like: "I will tell you about the second most important man, Gladios ”.
In November 2010 the film Valley of the Wolves - Palestine should come to the Turkish cinemas. However, due to technical errors, another appointment was made. In Germany, the controversial production, often condemned as anti-American and anti-Semitic, was due to appear on January 27, 2011 - on International Holocaust Remembrance Day . The Voluntary Self-Control of the Film Industry (FSK) initially refused a label, but after a renewed examination issued a “kJ” seal. Valley of the Wolves - Palestine also depicts the events of the Ship-to-Gaza incident in May 2010.
