Kwan Shan
Kwan Shan ( Chinese 關 山 , Pinyin Guān Shān ; born April 12, 1933 in Shenyang , Manchukuo ; † October 1, 2012 ) was a Chinese actor , director and film producer . Kwan often played romantic leads in Mandarin-language films from Hong Kong, particularly in the 1960s. He appeared in several Shaw Brothers films and in Jackie Chan's Police Story 2 .
life and death
Kwan was born in Shenyang in what was then the Japanese puppet state of Manchukuo and later moved to Hong Kong . He was the father of actress Rosamund Kwan and husband of Chinese actress Cheung Bing Sai ( 張 冰 茜 ). The two married in 1959, had two children and divorced in 1982.
He died of lung cancer on October 11, 2012 at the age of 79. His funeral took place at the Hong Kong Funeral Home .
