Kyra T. Inachin

Kyra T. Inachin (born May 19, 1968 in New York ; † January 10, 2012 ) was a German historian who worked primarily in the field of modern and contemporary history .

life and work

Kyra T. Inachin grew up in Lampertheim and studied history, English and political science at the University of Mannheim from 1987 to 1992, completing her studies with a Magister Artium. Since her doctorate in 1995, she has worked as a research assistant at the chair for Pomeranian History and Regional Studies at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald . 2002 habilitation they are. She then worked as a private lecturer, and from 2008 she was an adjunct professor with the field of "General History of the Modern Age" at the Historical Institute of the University of Greifswald.

She published various writings on the development of German parliamentarism and the political parties as well as on Pomeranian , Prussian and Mecklenburg history .

Kyra T. Inachin died on January 10, 2012 after a serious illness.
