Léo Itaperuna (born April 12, 1989 in Itaperuna , Rio de Janeiro ; actually Leonardo de Oliveira Clemente ) is a Brazilian football player . He currently plays for Suwon Samsung Bluewings in the K League .

Its nickname Itaperuna refers to the municipality of Itaperuna northeast of the Brazilian metropolis of Rio de Janeiro .

Career

Fluminense

He began his career in 2006 at the age of 17 at his home club Fluminense Rio de Janeiro in the B team in Série B in Brazil .

In 2007 he was accepted into the A-team in the A series. He made his debut in Série A on August 16, 2007. The team lost the derby ( Fla-Flu ) 0: 1 against city rivals Flamengo . He scored his first goal in the A series on October 30, 2007 in a 2-0 win against Figueirense FC . In 2008 he moved to the Paulista FC for América FC .

Duque de Caxias FC

In 2010 he moved to Série B at Duque de Caxias Futebol Clube to get even more match practice.

Loan period

After returning to Fluminense , he was loaned by Associação Desportiva and FC Anápolis in the 2011 season.

Arapongas Esporte Clube

In January 2012 he moved to Arapongas Esporte Clube on a free transfer .

FC Sion

In 2012 he moved to the Raiffeisen Super League in Switzerland for FC Sion . He made his debut in the Raiffeisen Super League on July 15, 2012. The team won 2-0 against the Grasshoppers . He shot both hits. Since then he has been the top scorer in the Raiffeisen Superleague until August 8th and on September 22nd he scored two goals in a win against FC Thun. In January 2015 he moved to the Korean club Suwon Samsung Bluewings for an undisclosed amount .
