Löbschütz is the part of the city of Kahla in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia, east of the Saale .
geography
Löbschütz is located directly on the eastern bank of the Saale up to the middle slopes. Further up behind the Pfaffenberg is the Leuchtenburg . Two state roads run through this part of the city , the L 1110 towards Neustadt an der Orla and the L 1062 towards Stadtroda . Both state roads are tangent to federal highway 88 . Before reaching it, you have to pass the Saalbahn and the Saalebrücke.
history
The first traces of settlement can be found in the area of today's Löbschütz as early as the Upper Palaeolithic. For at least 60 years, the surface material from Kahla-Löbschütz, consisting of almost 14,000 flint artifacts, has been part of the discussion of central German Magdalenianism.
On May 8, 1293, this district was first mentioned as a village. The town was incorporated into the city of Kahla in 1922. After the incorporation, the location has merged with the urban area of Kahlas. Today there are pensions, a pastry shop, a special school and other facilities in the village.
