Anna Cmaylo (born November 14, 1986 in Teaneck ) is a former American volleyball player .

Career

Cmyalo began her athletic career in 2004 at Santa Clara University . There she also studied political science and Romance studies . In 2008 the American came to Europe for the first time and played for the Swiss first division club VBC Cheseaux . In the 2009/10 season she was under contract with the ATSC Klagenfurt in Austria . At the end of the season she contracted Pfeiffer glandular fever . In the summer of 2010, the middle blocker switched to the Challenge Cup winner Dresdner SC . With the Bundesliga club Cmaylo was German runner-up in 2011 and 2012. She then went back to Klagenfurt to do her master's degree in economics , which she successfully obtained in 2014.
