Challenge Cup 2009/10 (women)

The 2009/10 season of the Challenge Cup began with the first round on October 17, 2009 and ended with the final in Dresden on March 21, 2010. For the first time, the women of the Dresdner SC won the competition and thus also won their first international title. Second place went to Asterix Kieldrecht, ahead of the third-placed women from Galatasaray Istanbul .

The first two rounds were played in the knockout system with home and away legs. In the third round, the sixteen winners of the second round were joined by the teams that were eliminated in the first round of the CEV Cup . Up to and including the quarter-finals, the knockout system continued with home and return legs. The winners of the quarterfinals qualified for the Final Four .
