The 2012/13 women's Challenge Cup volleyball season began with the second round on November 13, 2012. VT Aurubis Hamburg and USC Münster qualified from the German Bundesliga . UVC Graz and TI-volley played for Austria and VFM Franches-Montagnes from Switzerland took part in the competition.

Since no games were necessary in the first round, the competition began with the second round. This was played in the knockout system with return games. In the third round, the winners of the second round were joined by the teams that were eliminated in the first round of the CEV Cup . Until the final, it continued in the knockout system with two legs.
