The in Hunsrück preferred Lützelsoon cycle route is 30 km long and extends substantially in south-north direction from Kirn at the close to Kirchberg by the Lützelsoon . The cycle path was partially funded by the European LEADER + program.

geography

The almost 30 km long route leads from Kirn to Kirchberg . The route is a connecting route from the Nahe valley to the Hunsrück heights and offers fantastic views of a diverse landscape. Driving is mostly on paved roads, with short sections being carried along classified roads. On five kilometers (route between Kirchberg and Dickenschied ) optimal skater route . The central part of the Lützelsoon borders the bike path directly to the east, and there are numerous opportunities for experienced cyclists to drive up to the Lützelsoon heights. To the west, descents into the Hahnenbachtal and Schmidtburg are possible. In the Schneppenbach , Bruschied , Hennweiler area , the path runs through the forest.
