L'Île-d'Orléans is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale de comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .
It is located in the administrative region Capitale-Nationale and consists of six subordinate administrative units (four municipalities, a village and a district). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1982. The main town is Sainte-Famille . The population is 6,993 and the area is 194.5 km², which corresponds to a population density of 36.0 inhabitants per km².
The MRC is located entirely on the island of the same name, Île d'Orléans, in the confluence of the Saint Lawrence River .
