content

The crook Jack Garrison, together with his partner Chapagua, outsmarted the American army and got a number of gold bars. They hide the prey so that they can only find it together. As a result of the further events of the civil war, the former friends become enemies and after the end of the war they try to trick each other in order to steal all of the gold. The beautiful Moira, who joins the duo, tries to get a part of the fortune from both of them by using her charms and promises. And Major Garrett has figured out all three and is making his own soup. Everyone is now tricking everyone.

criticism

“(The film is) decidedly handicapped by a cumbersome script that only comes out after about 40 minutes with the crucial flashbacks. In the end it all ends in a hectic "Who shits best" game. "

- Christian Keßler : Willkommen in der Hölle, 2002, p. 161.

Remarks

The soundtrack of the film, which was released on CD, was praised. With an electric guitar and rattlesnake percussion, clarinet and whistled pieces, Bacalov would create downright psychedelic tones, says Kristopher Spencer.

For a long time Giancarlo Romitelli was identified as standing behind the pseudonym Don Reynolds .
