The LIAZ 200 is a truck model from the Czechoslovak commercial vehicle manufacturer LIAZ . It is the successor to the LIAZ 100 .
The LIAZ 200 is essentially a modernized version of its predecessor LIAZ 100 . After the opening of the Iron Curtain, Western vehicle construction technology could be used to start production in 1991. A trailer coupling from Rockinger , a tachograph from Kienzle and an ABS / ASR system from Bosch were installed in the LIAZ 200 . The tilting two-door cab is made entirely of metal and has two seats. The chassis frame consists of welded longitudinal and cross members made of sheet steel . The bed has a total area of 9.7 m². The truck has two 12 V batteries with a capacity of 180 Ah each.
The engine is a liquid-cooled six-cylinder -Viertaktreihenmotor with turbocharger and intercooler type M1.2B - M640 F . The displacement is 11.9 liters. The maximum power at 2000 min -1 is 212 kW (289 hp), the maximum torque amounts at 1300 min -1 to 1170 Nm.
The LIAZ 200 was exported to Indonesia to be used in the local armed forces .
