A team of police officers from the Paris Criminal Police investigated from the 36, quai des Orfèvres . At the head of the group is Commandant Françoise Galliot, an authoritarian woman who seems very cold, but is actually fragile. From episode 25 to episode 54, Commandant Hélène Vallon takes the lead. The women report to Jean-Louis Scandella, Michel Lemarchand, lawyer for the Galliot group, Paul Moreau, Scandella's best friend, Lieutenant Alexandre Siskowski, the youngest of men and also the most sensitive, and Lieutenant Caroline Tessier, a young woman from the aristocratic milieu.
