Laban Moiben
Laban Moiben (* 1983 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .
In 2006, he finished fifth in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon . The following year he finished second in the Country Music Marathon and won the Montreal Marathon and California International Marathon . In 2008, a victory in the Los Angeles Marathon was followed by eighth place in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon , in 2009 he was fourth in the Ottawa Marathon and second in the San Antonio Marathon .
In 2010, finishing second in Ottawa, he improved his personal record by more than four minutes to 2:09:44 h. In the fall he finished seventh in the Chicago Marathon . In the following season he succeeded after a third place in Los Angeles a victory in Ottawa. In 2012 he won the Mumbai Marathon and defended his title in Ottawa.
