The Mount Labo is a 1,544 meter-high stratovolcano , about 200 kilometers southeast of Manila . It is located in the Philippines on the island of Luzon in the province of Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur in the Bicol region about 20 km southwest of the city of Daet , in the area of the municipality of Labo . The northwestern sources of the Bicol River arise on the mountain. Some rivers that arise on the southern flank of the Labos flow into the Gulf of Ragay . The mountain is forested right up to the summit region, and the Abasig-Matogdon Mananap Natural Biotic Area was set up to protect it .
Its last eruption was 27,000 years ago, but hot springs show that it cannot be considered extinct yet.
