Labo is a Filipino municipality in the Camarines Norte Province , in the administrative region of V, Bicol. It has 101,082 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 52 barangays . It is classified as the first income class community in the Philippines. The community center is located approx. 30 km west of the provincial capital Daet and can be reached from there via the Maharlika Highway . Their neighboring communities are Santa Elena in the west, Capalonga in the northwest, Jose Panganiban and Paracale in the north, San Vicente in the east and Vinzons in the northeast. The 1,544 meter high active volcano Labo is located in the southeast of the municipality. Parts of the Abasig-Matogdon Mananap Natural Biotic Area are located in the municipal area .
