Daet

Daet is a Filipino municipality in the province of Camarines Norte , of which it is the capital.

Daet is the seat of the Diocese of Daet .

The township is a popular surfing spot for surfers from all over the world, especially the wide Bagasba Beach. Furthermore, the archipelago of the Calaguas belongs to the municipality. Parts of the Bicol Natural Park are located in the municipal area.

tourism

Because of the attention Daet has received from the international surfing community, the site has been upgraded to an internationally accredited surfing site by the Ministry of Tourism . In addition, the Calaguas archipelago in the north of the municipality receives the attention of tourists from the area as well as foreign tourists. The archipelago can be regarded as “virgin” as no resorts have been built there yet .
