The Bicol Natural Park is located in the Bicol Region , on the island of Luzon , Philippines . It was established on December 29, 2000 on an area of 5201 hectares in the province of Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur in the municipal area of Basud , Daet , Sipocot and Lupi and was established according to the guidelines of NIPAS Law 7586 . Originally the nature park was established as Bicol National Park in 1934.

The reserve is about 350 km southeast of Manila and is crossed by the Maharlika Highway . It comprises larger rainforest stocks in the provinces, which comprise approximately 792 hectares in the nature reserve, at the foot of Mount Kulasi. The nature park lies in a flat hilly landscape and includes the Lupi-Libmonan-Sipocot Watershed. The climate in the area is tropical and humid without a pronounced dry period, the driest months are from November to April.

The reserve is home to a wide range of the flora and fauna of the Philippines. On the flatter mountain slopes, there are intensive flatland rainforests, which, however, were subject to heavy forestry use. Other areas in the nature park are used for agriculture. Observations of the blood-winged fruit pigeon ( Ptilinopus marchei ) and goldfishers ( Ceyx melanurus ) are known of the avifauna .
