Catanduanes Watershed Forest Reserve is a water and nature reserve on Catanduanes Island in the Bicol region of the Philippines . It covers an area of 26,010 hectares and is located in the southern and central part of the island. It is the main source of water for the inhabitants of the Catanduanes province of the same name. It was established by Presidential Decree No. 123 in 1987. A small hydroelectric power station provides electricity for the island's communities.

The topography of the protected area is described as hilly to mountainous. The highest point, Mt. Boctot, reaches a height of 803 meters above sea level. The area is largely forested with 22,915.85 hectares, of which only 3,200 hectares are old forest. If the forests are near-natural, they are dominated on the island of Catanduanes by trees from the wing fruit family .

Through this large protected forest area, the Catanduanes Watershed Forest Reserve offers a habitat for the Philippine pustular pig and the Philippine deer. There are also different species of bats such as Rhinolophus rufus and Eonycteris robusta . The endemic Phloeomys cumingi comes from the rodent group . A significant number of various rare amphibians and reptile species live in the reserve . For example, stocks of the frogs Kaloula conjuncta , Platymantis corrugatus , Platymantis dorsalis , Rana magna and Rana woodworthi were registered. Various types of reptiles occur there, such as the species Brachymeles samarensis , Dasia grisea , Lipinia pulchellum , and the kite Draco spilopterus , which belong to the skinks . The populations of the rare water snake Cerberus rynchops and the adder Hologerrhum philippinum have also been documented.

From the avifauna , observations of the Philippine duck , the red-tailed cockatoo , the striped hull and the goldfishers ( Ceyx melanurus ) are known.
